The 2015 Toyota Prius C Now Available at Toyota of Denton

For the 2015 model year the Toyota Prius C has been given a face lift that includes new styling on both ends including new headlights, Toyota's trademark "big mouth" grille, and redesigned taillights. This year Toyota also introduces a number of new colors and an upgraded interior. The top trim level also includes new standard features such as a rear-view camera and a sunroof. Along with this, the new Prius continues to strive for outstanding fuel economy and practicality.

Economy and Performance

The 2015 Toyota Prius C is the smallest of the Prius models, at 19 inches shorter than the standard Prius. As the lowest priced model it also makes the Prius C the most affordable way to get into one of these fuel sipping compact cars. The Prius C sports a 1.5 liter four cylinder gasoline engine, along with a powerful electric motor that derives its power from a nickel-cadmium battery pack. The combination of both achieves a very impressive EPA estimated combined 50 miles per gallon (53 city/46 highway).

This makes the Prius C one of the most fuel efficient non-plug in hybrid cars on the road today. Despite being a hybrid, the Prius C manages 0 to 60 mph in 11.3 seconds, which is very respectable for a compact hybrid. The full 99 horsepower is transferred to front wheel drive axles via a continuously variable transmission offering smooth acceleration.

The 2015 Toyota Prius C offers seating for five comfortably and features cloth upholstery as standard. You can upgrade to leatherette upholstery and heated front seats are available as optional upgrades. There is plenty of room in the front seats and the telescoping steering wheel adds to the car's adaptability.
