Interior

On the inside the base model comes with air conditioning, a rearview camera, an 8-way power driver's seat, and cloth upholstery. You also get a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen interface with voice control and Bluetooth connectivity. Bumping up to the SE, you get cloth and synthetic leather upholstery, a leather wrapped steering wheel that comes with paddle shifters, and a 4.2-inch TFT color driver's information display. The Special Edition adds in the Entune Audio Plus package, the custom blue interior trim, and Qi® wireless smartphone charging, along with a custom set of gauges. Upgrading to the XSE adds in dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, a four-way power front passenger seat, and leather and synthetic suede upholstery.

Technology

When it comes to technology, the 2016 Toyota Camry has plenty to offer buyers in every trim level. The base LE model comes equipped with a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen that lets you access full Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity, voice control, and a six speaker audio system. You can also make use of the Siri Eyes Free system. At the upper trim levels, buyers will get the Entune Audio Plus package. This system comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, paddle shifters, HD and Satellite radio. You also have access to keyless entry and ignition, a wireless cell phone charger system called Qi®. There is also an optional Technology Package that comes with a 10-speaker sound system by JBL and a number of safety features.

Safety

When it comes to safety, Toyota never stops researching better ways to protect you and your family. All 2016 Toyota Camry models come equipped with front and rear side airbags, front knee airbags, stability and traction control, and anti-lock disc brakes. You also get a rearview camera and full side curtain airbags.

In addition to this, the XSE and XLE have access to the optional blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert systems. The Technology Package includes lane departure, and collision mitigation systems that can automatically apply the brakes. Finally, the XLE offer Safety Connect that add automatic collision notification and an emergency assist button. You also get a stolen vehicle locator system.
